Edgewood Middle School’s manufacturing program provides students with real-world, hands-on experience in producing high-quality products for customers.
Each year, students manufacture thousands of custom t-shirts, learning the full process from screen printing to vinyl cutting while applying quality control measures at every step. In addition to apparel, students design and produce custom awards using our CO₂ laser.
Through these projects, students gain valuable skills in manufacturing, problem-solving, teamwork, and attention to detail while delivering professional-level products to the community.
Where and when is the 5K happening?
The first-ever Warsaw Education 5K takes place on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, at 9am at the WCS Cross Country Course (1 Tiger Lane, Warsaw, IN 46580). Sign up today! A waiver will emailed after registration. This needs to be completed prior to walk/run.
Check-in on the morning of is from 7-8:30am. Remember to get your shoe tag if you picked up your packet early! The race begins at 9am.
Note: This is an off-road trail run. The course is not paved.
Is there an early-bird check-in?
Yes. Early-bird check-in is at Cloud 9 Multisport (1009 E. Canal St., Winona Lake, 46590) November 3-7 from 10am-6pm.
What will I get with my registration?
Your registration packet includes a 5K T-shirt and runner bib. Water and snacks will be available after the race.
Can I pay when I arrive or only through the online form? Are refunds allowed?
We’ll take registration day-of, but we can’t guarantee that you’ll get swag. No refunds allowed. Please note: If you sign up after October 20 or on the day of event, we cannot guarantee a t-shirt will be available.
Are restrooms nearby?
Yes. Restrooms will be available in the baseball field press box.
Will there be medics onsite?
Yes. The Athletic Staff will be onsite for injuries.
Can I walk instead of run?
Yes. However you’d like to complete the race is up to you.
Is there an age minimum for the 5K?
Anyone can participate! We’ll have a shotgun start for all runners at 9am. Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for ages: <9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Is there be an official timing system?
Yes. Shoe tags will be handed out at the check-in table at the morning of the event and must be turned in upon completion of the race. There will be $35 charge for any lost shoe tags.
Is there a rain date?
The 5K will continue as planned, rain or shine, unless there’s inclement weather. If that’s the case, expect an email by 7am on the morning of the race. Lightning will result in a delayed start. If it rains or snows we’ll still run, so please come prepared for the weather!
