Approach

Governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, dedicated individuals give of their time in assuring that the organization fulfills its mission. Through philanthropic contributions, strategic advocacy, and personal networks, the board drives the strategic vision of WEF and furthers the organization’s mission as a catalyst and change agent for innovation, educational advancement, and community support within Warsaw Community Schools.

OUR HISTORY

The Foundation equips local teachers to help their students excel.

In 1987, business leaders from First National Bank, Penguin Point, United Telephone, and Zimmer established the Warsaw Community Foundation for Public Education. These forward-thinking leaders had a dream to provide all students in Warsaw Community Schools the best education possible.

Since then, the Foundation has funded hundreds of teacher-initiated projects that have impacted thousands of students with extraordinary learning.
