ABOUT THE FOUNDATION

Investing in Academic Excellence

MISSION & APPROACH

We’re passionate about academic excellence in Warsaw Schools.

Mission

Investing in academic excellence today; returning excellent leadership tomorrow.

Location

We serve Warsaw Community Schools located in Warsaw, IN.

Approach

We believe in the power of a well-equipped, intentional teacher. That is why we award grants directly to teachers who go above and beyond for their students. These grants fund projects that are outside the school’s curriculum and budget, but are essential for student learning and success. This extra funding allows teachers to go the extra mile for their students. Grants are awarded every year and are available to every teacher in every department of Warsaw Community Schools.

OUR HISTORY

The Foundation equips local teachers to help their students excel.

In 1987, business leaders from First National Bank, Penguin Point, United Telephone, and Zimmer established the Warsaw Community Foundation for Public Education. These forward-thinking leaders had a dream to provide all students in Warsaw Community Schools the best education possible.

Since then, the Foundation has funded hundreds of teacher-initiated projects that have impacted thousands of students with extraordinary learning.
